About

Welcome to the Pre-Programme Training for Mentors.

This training aims to define and contextualize mentoring and will describe what is expected of you as a mentor when participating in the IAS Mentorship Programme.

The specific roles and responsibilities of mentors and mentees, as well as the ongoing management of the mentoring relationship, will be outlined. Reflective activities will further ensure that you have the chance to collate your thoughts and build on the knowledge you have acquired.

Overview

The course is divided into five different parts: introduction, mentoring benefits and roles, managing the mentoring relationship, participating in engagements and wrap-up.
